Why do some of the clerks at GNC have a big attitude?
I was at GNC today, and I went to purchase some protein powder. The clerk asked me if i wanted the 'more expensive' deluxe GNC protein and I politely told him that i was not interested and had everything i wanted.
He then was trying to sell me some BSN supplement and i was like, i have everything i need. He then interrupted again and told me how it would help me reduce my recovery time after a workout, i was like Sir, i don't want to buy that, can you please ring me up, he finally did. i was a bit agitated at this point and i asked him while he was ringing up my order how much of a commission he gets, but was not rude considering he asked me 3 times to buy something when i told him i didn't want it
as i was leaving the store, he flipped the bird on me, finally i said "Have a nice day too sir"
Seriously though, what is up with some of these people who work there??
I am sure that management would be interested in knowing he flipped you off. Also mentioned that you do not like to be asked time after time if you want to have the clerk suggest other items at the time of the sale. Blame the management for what he was doing about the hard sell.
